Jean-Luc Moerman, a Belgian artist, takes images of fashion shoots, iconic images as well as classic pictures and adds his own unique touch. Taking inspiration from tattooing he covers the models in the images with tattoos. I think it is really effective and I could look at the images for ages noticing different things. I have already decided that for my editorial look I wanted to concentrate on detail. Therefore I am looking at taking most of my inspiration from the tattooing and scarification I have researched so far. The images of Moermans work have inspired me to create face charts that have given me many ideas for my final look.
